Service Description

Purchase of this course includes the purchase and registration for ALL four class periods. There are two class period options: Sundays, 12pm to 2pm (November 1st, November 8th, November 15th, and November 22nd) Mondays, 6 pm to 8pm (November 2nd, November 9th, November 16th, and November 23rd) The selection of the first class period will dictate with time slot you will be in for the entire course. You cannot join another time slot after this selection. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ This course will give adult learners the background knowledge of plant anatomy, plant evolution, and the introduction to plant identification using live plants and inclusive learning techniques. Payment of this course includes 4 two-hour class periods of classroom instruction and active learning activities. Week 1: Plant Anatomy and Growth Week 2: Plant Evolution Week 3: Plant Reproduction Week 4: Leaf Shapes and Types All courses are held within the Powderhorn Recreation Center. Masks are required at all times inside the classroom but aren't required during any outdoor instruction. Surgical masks and N95's are accepted but cloth and reusable masks do not meet the mask requirements.
