Plant Knowledge for All

We believe that botany and high-level biology knowledge shouldn't be gatekept behind university paywalls. Everyone deserves a chance to learn about the natural world around them!

Through an Academic and indigenous Lens

Learning is a continuous process. No matter how old you are, you have the ability to learn and grow. Through Aakwa Education, you can take classes in an accessible and diverse learning environment that honors plants as our relatives rather than as a commodity.

All of our courses include 4 two-hour class periods of in person instruction and activity time. Optional readings will be available to all learners between class periods.

To ensure accessibility to all, masks are required in the classroom. Additional accommodations can be requested to suit your needs. Our classroom is neurodivergent friendly and all lessons incorporate active learning strategies to ensure an engaging learning experience!
